Lawn dressing delivery in Durbanville
A fine mix spread thinly over an existing lawn to level hollows and help tired grass recover. In bags or by the load.
Lawn dressing is spread thinly over an existing lawn. It fills small hollows, evens out bumps and gives the grass something to grow into.
How to use it
Mow the lawn short. Spread a thin layer, about a centimetre at most, and rake or brush it in so the grass still shows through. Water well. Patchy areas may need a second dressing a few weeks later.
Which size to order
A small lawn may need only a few bags. Larger lawns take a bakkie load or more. Tell us the size of the lawn and we will quote.

Questions people ask
What is better, topsoil or lawn dressing?
They do different jobs. Topsoil builds up the ground, so use it under a new lawn or to fill and level. Lawn dressing is spread thinly over a lawn that is already growing, to even it out and help it thicken.
When should you put lawn dressing on?
When the grass is growing well, usually from spring into early summer in Cape Town. Mow short first, spread a thin layer, brush it in so the grass still shows through, then water.
